The ultimate everyday versatile purse in my opinion is the Longchamp Le Pliage Tote Bag. Use it as a book bag or your everyday purse the Longchamp is a great size and will fit everything you need. This bag comes in a variety of different colors and if you do not feel like such a big bag, Longchamp has made this same bag in a variety of different styles.
The best part is that when you are not using the bag it folds up making it small and compact. This way you can pack it in your suitcase easily when travelling (but I do not know why you would because chances are you probably would use it as your carry on). Try not to put to much stuff in the bag because it may start to rip a little on the corners – this I unfortunately know.
