Oscars Best Dressed Women!

After sitting in front of the television for over 4 hours last night, I finally decided on who I thought were the three best dressed women at the 82nd Oscars!
  1. Miley Cyrus - Dressed in a Jenny Packham gown, I thought she looked absolutely magnificent and I instantly fell in love with this gown!
  2. Sandra Bullock - Dressed in a velvet Marchesa gown. Not only did she look like a winner in this dress, but she was a winner for her leading role in The Blind Side.
  3. Cameron Diaz - Dressed in an Oscar de la Renta gown, Diaz looked gorgeous and vibrant.
Who do you think was the best dressed at the Oscars? I want to know!

Rompers or Jumpers - Flirty and Fabulous!

Rompers or Jumpers, no matter what you call them, one things for sure, they are flirty and fabulous! For the longest time I have been looking for the perfect romper and was not having any luck. My luck changed during my recent trip to Las Vegas where I came home with not one but TWO new rompers! I got one fancy black silk one from Armani Exchange and a casual black one from a smaller shop in one of the hotels.

If you don't know what to wear, rompers are a quick fix to any wardrobe confusion. Throw it on and pair it with a nice pair of shoes and accessories and your good to go! Everyone should have a romper in their closet!

If you don't have one then make sure to add it to your must have list because rompers are going to be one of the must have pieces this summer.

What do you think of rompers? Do you have one? If so, where is it from?

Anyways, I have to get back to watching the Oscars!

OPI Alice in Wonderland Limited Edition Nail Polish

Earlier on today I decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi combo. I just love all the different color nail polishes to choose from, but especially the ones from OPI.

For the release of Tim Burtons new movie Alice in Wonderland, OPI has designed four new Alice in Wonderland inspired colors. These limited edition colors will really turn heads and are definitely a great tribute to the movie.

  • Off with Her Red!
  • Absolutely Alice
  • Mad as a Hatter
  • Thanks so Muchness!
Today I stuck with 'Lincoln Park after Dark' for my fingers and toes but I definitely plan on adding one of these inspiring colors to my OPI collection. What about you? What do you think of this new collection?

Marc Bernstein: Rope and Chain, Triple Wrap Bracelet

While flipping through the December/January issue of Nylon magazine a few weeks ago I came across a must have bracelet that I immediately added to my 'need to purchase' shopping list. Designed by American Marc Bernstein, his Triple Wrap Bracelets are absolutely stunning. The bracelet comes in a variety of different styles and colors. Depending on the style, the price of the bracelet ranges but they start as low as $75!

This is the kind of bracelet that I think can be used to dress up an outfit or dress down. I personally would wear this bracelet all the time if I had one. I guess I will just have to pick one up on my next trip to New York!

What do you think of this bracelet? Do you have one or one that is similar?

Diane Von Furstenberg Safari Boots

Yesterday I got a pair of extremely fabulous boots and I am soo excited that I just had to blog about them! They are the Diane Von Furstenberg Safari Boots in black (shown above). These boots have a combination of a classic and military style. One thing is for sure, they definitely make a fashion statement.

These boots are super comfortable and the best part is they can be worn during pretty much every season. The boots reach the middle of the lower leg and have a 1 and 1/2 inch heel. They look great with leggings or jeans and can even be worn with shorts and dresses. I have only worn them around my house but I cannot wait to wear them out!

Anyways I am off to a charity event. Do you have boots that are similar to these? If so, where are they from?

Tulle Skirts aka Tutu's

When I was younger I took dance and one of the things I loved so much about it was getting my costumes for the final shows which almost always included a tutu. Tutu's seemed to be pretty much the coolest things ever to me when I was young and getting a new one for each dance was beyond exciting. As I grew older and slowly stopped dancing I stopped getting new tutus and I never put one on until just recently.

Nowadays tutus otherwise known as Tulle Skirts are one of the biggest trends. They can be found at many different stores from H&M, Betsey Johnson, Victoria's Secret, and Target (thats where I got mine!).

I absolutely adore my tulle skirt and I can't wait to get another one!

What do you think of tulle skirts? Do you have one?

If you're like me you probably have a ton of clothes in your closet that you probably do not wear anymore but just can't seem to let go. Here is a chance to get rid of those jeans that you no longer wear for a good cause.

So what are you waiting for? Bring in your jeans and help make a difference. I know I will!

Gypsy 05 - Comfy and Trendy

The above picture is one of the sweaters I got from the sale!

Yesterday Gypsy 05, one of my favorite brands, had a sale on Hautelook. Lucky for me one of my favorite Gypsy 05 sweaters was part of the sale! So of course I got the sweater and another tank top as well.

Gypsy 05 just started in 2005 and since then has made its way into many retail stores and into the closets of many male and female celebrities. The clothes are comfy and trendy and Gypsy 05 has something for everyone. From sweatpants to maxi dresses wearing Gypsy 05 will really make you stand out.

Zoe Chicco - The Perfect Initial Necklace

I don't know about you, but I am completely obsessed with personalized jewelry. I have a variety of personalized rings and necklaces. The most recent necklace I added to my collection, and have yet to take off, is my gold Zoe Chicco tiny initial necklace.

The necklace is a small gold J that rests nicely at the bottom of my neck. It is simple and elegant and is suitable for all different occasions. For a more complex look, this necklace can paired with another.

Although these necklaces are a little pricy, they are definitely worth the investment since it will be hard to take off!

What do you think of personalized jewelry? Do you have any?

Crop Tops

So I know it has been a while since I have posted but I just finished watching the movie Julie and Julia and I promised myself that I would get back to blogging on a regular basis. So here I am, back and ready to continue posting about todays latest fashion trends (and a bit about my life of course)!

One of my recent obsessions is CROP TOPS! At first I was a little hesitant about this old style making its way back into the fashion world, but after finding a variety of styles and different ways to wear them I have become obsessed. I just got a long sleeve one from Aritzia yesterday and I can't wait to wear it!

Crop tops looks best in the summer with a pair of jean shorts but they can be worn in the winter as well. Wear them out to a club or with a tank top underneath, these shirts still manage to look fabulous.

They can be found at Urban Outfitters, Aritzia, American Apparel, Forever 21 and of course many other stores. However, the best part about a crop top is that you can always take a shirt and make your own for a cheaper alternative.

What do you think about crop tops?
